Two months ago in Minneapolis, Minnesota four life long friends built a boat. They planned to set sail for Mobile, Alabama. On Tuesday, they made it. In all, it was a 16 hundred mile journey. It started on the Mississippi River in Minnesota, then the Ohio River to the Tennessee, next the Tombigbee River and eventually to the Mobile River. The group left on August 20. They even kept a daily blog of their adventure.
Along the way, they hit both Hurricane Gustav and Hurricane Ike that put a wrench in their plans.
So, how will they get home? The guys say they plan to sell their boat in Pensacola to raise money to make the trip back to Minnesota.

LOL at the boat being named “Wasted Time.”
“Which one is Huck and which one is Finn-I mean Tom Sawyer?”:
Didn’t anybody actually read it? It’s a controversial tale about Huck and a slave named Jim and their trip down the Mississippi.
