simple Halloween prank. They're looking for the culprit who stole
more than 300 small pumpkins from an Abernant farmer.
The pumpkins were taken from Jim Rhodes' Critter Creek Farms
last week costing him between $600 and $700.
Two elementary school groups arrived Friday morning for hay
rides and a day at the farm, but were unable to pick a pumpkin to
take home to decorate for Halloween.
Rhodes said the thieves probably struck after rain cleared
Thursday night and left nothing but tire tracks behind.
