The latest took place in Theodore on Westfield Road.
The Mobile County Sheriff's Office says 60 year old Richard Land was found inside his home Tuesday evening.
Investigators are treating the death as a homicide.
Detectives are following leads and evidence.
No suspect or cause of death have been released.
- The 9th homicide is out of the Grand Bay area. The sheriff's office says John Smith was found dead in his business on Old Pascagoula Road on Monday.
- The 8th homicide is from the City of Mobile. Police say Thaddeus Sipp was killed early Saturday morning on Toulmin Avenue.
- The 7th homicide happened on Bear Fork Road in Mobile. Police say Richard Edmond was shot January 9 in a car parked in his driveway. He later died at a hospital.
- The 6th homicide happened on Woodlawn Drive in Mobile. Police say Michael J. Brown was shot several times and found dead on January 9.
- The 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th homicides are the children police say were thrown off the Dauphin Island Bridge.
- The 1st homicide was the discovery of Mark C. Williams dead on the Causeway. He was found January 5 beside a car.
