The Florida teenagers charged with a video beating of another teen made their first appearance in Polk Circuit Court Friday. The six girls and two boys face kidnapping charges and the possibility of life in prison. Five were released on bond Friday evening, three others are waiting to be processed.

A judge set bail for each at 30-thousand dollars during their first appearance.

The state attorney's office says seven of the teens will be tried as adults. The youngest of them is 14. The eighth person is 18-years-old and is already considered an adult by state law. They face kidnapping and misdemeanor battery charges. Three also face a felony charge of witness tampering.

The judge has issued a gag order requiring everyone involved in the case to keep their mouths shut. The judge also ordered each of the defendants to stay off internet chat rooms and MySpace, YouTube and other social websites. The judge also ordered them to not talk, contact, or go near the victim's house and to stay away from Mulberry High School and school functions.

Also once out on bond, they are to consider themselves on house arrest and observe a nighttime curfew. The video has been viewed widely on national TV and the Internet.

Of course they’re smiling...of course they don’t “get it.”

THEY’RE FAMOUS NOW.
In this day, you are famous for being on TV, not for having talent! Look at Nicole Richie, Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian, what have they done other than be rich???
These kids are just poor white trash, and this is the closest thing to fame they will ever have....
Sadly, in the eyes of all their idiot teenager friends/classmates, these girls are COOL.

I don’t think the sheriff did anything wrong.  When one girl walks into a home where 6 are in the mindset of beating her down...that sheriff doesn’t have to trump charges up.  I don’t care if 1 girl did the beating.  5 others were standing in the house doing nothing...2 boys were outside ensuring police couldn’t help the girl....I hope that girl recovers well and lives to see her attackers amount to nothing worthwhile to society.  2 boys standing outside....WTF....the boys should have had more sense....oh my gosh....

The only good this video does is to prove white trash is still alive and well in America and we better not F with it by ourselves because they fight 6 on 1…
