That attack was captured on surveillance tape at Murphy High School. Mobile City Councilman Fred Richardson tells News 5 17-year old Dominick Harris will enroll at the Continuous Learning Center, an alternative school.
Last month, Richardson wrote letters to the Mobile County School Board asking that Harris be allowed to return to school after he was expelled last month.
A spokesperson for the school district tells News 5 Harris' expulsion had a provision in it that allowed him to enroll in an alternative school.. The spokesperson says it was up to his mother to set up a meeting with school officials.
Harris and Randolph Parker are charged as an adults in the case, and were expelled from school.
