TALLADEGA - An altercation at the Talladega Municipal Sports
Complex left at least three people, including Mayor Brian York,
with minor injuries.
Captain Ronny Jones says police responded and the crowd
dispersed without further incident Tuesday night.
Police say no arrests had been made as of Thursday morning. Most
of the people involved weren't from Talladega, according to Nixon
and Jones.
York, who was watching his son play on a different field, says
he tried to intervene in a fight between two women that began after
an umpire called a game although it was the bottom of the ninth
inning and the winning team was at bat.
He filed a police report that night. The women, one from Alpine
and the other from Ashland also filed reports.

It a shame that people can’t agree to disagree and forget it.  No, they think Well I can change their mind if I just hit them and anyone else who is around them then I can make them agree with me or do as I say do !  I’M RIGHT EVEN WHEN I’M WRONG
