WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton are
locked in a tie for Alabama delegates even though he took 56
percent of the vote in Tuesday's primary to her 42 percent.
According to party estimates Friday, along with the choices of
so-called superdelegates, both have 28 delegates.
There are four more still to be determined.
Democratic officials said that based on Tuesday's results, Obama
won 27 delegates compared with 25 for Clinton - mainly because most
delegates are divided up according to results within congressional
districts as opposed to statewide.
But Clinton has won commitments from three superdelegates who
are free to support the candidate of their choice regardless of the
popular vote. Obama has just one.

Just eliminate Superdelicates altogether.

It should be by law in each state that each delegate, including superdelegates, have to vote according to percentage of votes cast for a candidate, otherwise votes mean nothing. This is outrageous that the american voters has allowed this to continue for so long.If one party will not change, vote in another or start a new party that will honor the wishes of the voters.
