The lockdown at Spanish Fort High School has been lifted. There's no word yet if police located the runaway teenager that prompted school officials to issue the lockdown at 9:15 a.m. But things are now back to normal on campus. We want to reiterate that school officials say students and teachers were never in any danger.

Spanish Fort High School went into a "precautionary lockdown" at 9:15 Wednesday morning. But a Baldwin County Schools spokesperson says no students or employees are in any danger.
Police are looking for a teenage runaway who might be armed. They have blocked off Plaza de Toros Drive, the street that runs in front of the high school.
At this time, the school's exterior doors are locked. Parents are asked not to come to or call the campus at this time. Any and all visitors to campus will be turned away.
