They say the early bird gets the worm. On the day after Thanksgiving, the early shopper gets the bargain. Stores across the Gulf Coast opened early for Black Friday. In Spanish Fort, a group of people spent the night in cold temperatures in front of Best Buy, hoping to be among the first to walk through the doors. Only a limited number of Best Buy sale vouchers were available. Some in line tried to sell their voucher to others who didn't get one. Once the doors opened at 5am, things calmed down a bit as shoppers seemed happy to be inside warm, and spending money.
