Some so-called big time drug dealers are in trouble after Mobile County Sheriff's deputies busted up their alleged operation.
Dwayne King, Kelvin James, Stanley Williams, Jr., Kenneth Harris and Nolan Martin were arrested at various locations Monday.
Investigators also seized five kilos of cocaine, marijuana, crack, firearms, codeine syrup, and more than $100,000 in cash.
Deputies say the drugs alone had a street value of about half-a-million dollars.
Mobile County Sheriff Sam Cochran told News Five in order to make the arrests, they had to catch all the suspects in the act.
"This was a dangerous operation. These people were armed with numerous types of guns, stolen guns, lots of money, lots of drugs, vehicles, chases, all the things, all the ingredients were major things to go wrong. Bad things to happen primarily to bad people, but in this case there were no injuries," said Sheriff Cochran.
During one of the arrests last night on the I-65 Beltline near Airport Boulevard, one of the suspects rammed the vehicles of two undercover investigators.
They were not hurt.
