A new study on sex and seniors finds that many older people are still performing and talking about intimate acts that would make their grandchildren blush.
Nearly three-quarters of those in the 57 to 64 age group say they're sexually active. And among the 75- to 85-year-olds, more than a quarter are still "doing it." Most say they are intimate with a partner several times a month.
The federally funded study, published in Thursday's New England Journal of Medicine, is the most comprehensive sex survey ever done of that age group in the United States. The National Institute on Aging says it provided much of the funding because sex is an important indicator of overall health.
