Figures. She was re-elected without opposition in 1998 and 2002. A Mobile native, Senator Figures earned a bachelor degree from the University of New Haven in Connecticut and attended Jones School of Law in Montgomery. She is also a former Mobile City Councilwoman.
The election is next November. Alabama's primary is scheduled for February 5th, which is Fat Tuesday.
