Mobile Police tell News 5 that Brandon Gurly has been taken into custody. According to police Gurly, 24, lived at an Orleans Place apartment on Michael Blvd. with Elizabeth Foster and her two children. Police say Gurly is 3 year old Christian Foster's father, but he is not the father of Foster's 3 month old child. Christian Foster was found locked inside a smoke-filled room this morning. He was alone at the apartment at the time. He was taken to Springhill Medical Center where he later died. Now Gurly has been taken into custody and charged with manslaughter. Police also say he was in possession of a single loritab pill and may face drug charges. Elizabeth Foster also faces manslaughter charges. Investigators found that a cord had been tied to the bedroom door, keeping the toddler locked inside. Investigators say it appears the child died of carbon monoxide poisoning.
THIS IS TO JESSICA. IF HE WAS SUCH A GOOD FATHER WHY DID HE LET CHRISTIAN FALL OUT OF THE WINDOW OF THE APARTMENT AT 8:30 THAT NIGHT WHILE ELIZABETH WAS AT WORK. SOUND LIKE HE WAS A BAD PARENT TO ME.
