Two men got into a fist fight in the middle of rush-hour traffic on a Phoenix interstate Tuesday afternoon.Motorists slammed on their brakes in disbelief as the men exchanged blows.
An Arizona Department of Transportation traffic camera caught the road rage row on Interstate 17 as one vehicle after another narrowly missed hitting the men.
According to police, it all started when the men got into a fight at a nearby mall. One of them threatened to commit suicide and tried to throw himself in front of traffic. The other man was trying to tackle him to the ground to save his life.
Neither man was hit by any of the vehicles.
"They are very lucky," said DOT spokesperson Jacob Pruet. "There were a lot of cars on the freeway it was rush hour traffic. And it's just someone was looking out and making sure no one got hurt."

Road Rage? It sounds more like a brave act of heroism than road rage. Give the guy some credit. It doesn’t sound like a fight but an intervention.
