force adjustments" has been going on since the organization merged
with AmSouth in 2006. Bank officials declined to say what specific
parts of the company the cuts would come from - but they said it
will affect employees across the company. It will also mean a
hiring freeze.
Regions currently employs over 33,000 employees in 16 states.

Explanation Of Job Cuts














I have been a client of regions since the late 70’s when it was Merchants. Today they need everyone they have because the branch I go to is always extermly busy. I believe they are trying to become like another bank here that mistreats their clients and soon Regions will decline likewise.
