Rapper/actor charged with speeding, reckless driving, endangerment and driving on a suspended license in Arizona

DMX, the rapper turned actor was arrested in his Cave Creek residence in Arizona on Tuesday on charges of over speeding in January this year, police sources said on Wednesday.

Speed cameras caught DMX in a 1966 Chevrolet Nova II speeding over 100 miles per hour when the speed limit in the area was 65 miles per hour.

Apart from over speeding, the 37 year old had multiple charges of racing on a highway, reckless driving, two counts of endangerment, three counts of speeding and driving on a suspended license.

He was released on bond on Wednesday.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons has been in trouble with the Arizona authorities on previous occasions.

Last August, the police found distressed pit bull dogs and weapons when they raided Simmons home in Arizona. The case is still under investigation.
