Most of the News 5 viewing area is under a flood watch through tonight. The rain has already washed out two roads in Santa Rosa County.
Capitol Drive west of America Avenue in Navarre has been closed due to a washout. Motorists should take the Government Street detour.
In Gulf Breeze, the 3200 block of Maplewood Drive is also closed due to a washout. The detour is Circle Lane to Redwood Lane to Oakwood Lane. Santa Rosa County officials say repairs to Maplewood Drive will take approximately two weeks.
