The 52nd Anniversary of the "Order of Inca" made its Mardi Gras procession through Downtown Mobile tonight (Friday). While the show was a little soggy, it didn't dampen the festivities.

Beads and Moonpies weren't the only things coming down on the crowd during the parade, while rain, also made a short visit. But it didn't keep revellers away.
"I've been doing Mardi Gras my whole life, I wouldn't miss any of the parades they're fun, despite the rain, " Said Rosary Chrismon as she bundled up.
As floats made the best of slick roads, band members traded in their traditional attire for weather proof gear. While Mardi Gras festivities are a southern tradition for folks throughout the Gulf Coast, some say there's no comparison when it comes to Mobile.
"We're the beginning of mardi gras, they just followed behind us, "Said one reveller.
