Shattered glass on a driveway only begins to tell the story of what happened to Quentin Pressley over the weekend.
"He got a call to deliver pizza like normal," says Escambia County Sheriff's spokesman Glenn Austin, "When he arrived on the scene there wasn't anyone at the house"
It's a familiar story for pizza delivery drivers according to Austin, "They get a phone call and they go out to the area and it turns out to be a bogus address and the next thing you know you're surrounded."
And that was what happened to Pressley except the group that surrounded him pulled guns and opened fire.
Four bullets struck the windshield. Both windows on the drivers side of the car were shattered. The rear passenger window on the other side was hit. As many as half a dozen shots rang out as Pressley ran for his life. He was hit three times.
"This was the first time that I've known of an incident on Sonnyboy Lane." Joseph Benson lives across the street from where it happened and it's got him worried. "Anytime crime take place and some innocent person is the victim of that crime it does make you wonder what direction the community as well as other areas that have these kind of problems are moving in."
Pressley is being treated for gunshot wounds to his head, neck and right hand. The search is on for those responsible.
Sacred Heart Hospital is not releasing any information about Pressley's condition. His grandmother told News Five, he was doing okay.

I say STOP delivering in these HIGH crime areas! Furthermore, I think it would be wise if you had to pay upfront for the pizza by using a debit card or check. Saves the delivery drivers from carrying cash…

Well I delivered pizza working my way through college with three kids.  I never had a car topper they paid you extra.  But, In the city of Pascagoula Mississippi a pizza delivery driver was robbed.  They drove up to my car and stopped and I heard them yell “Its a woman” they drove the next block over and robbed a male.ML......They did it as a thrill after work they worked at FG. The judge in Pascagoula Mississippi stated that he wanted to send a strong message in this town that you do not rob a Pizza Hut delivery driver.  They got 10 years.....And one has never been robbed since.... hang them by their balls it will send a message, you don’t do that....

Couldn’t be they had ordered a pizza from domino’s before?? And received the same service and peice of cardboard I got twelve years ago, maybe the reason I have never ordered another !!

I moved away from a town in New Jersey where this happened and the pizza delivery person was killed.  The pizza was delivered to an abandoned shack on Scott Road in Franklin, New Jersey.  The reason that was given was that the kids who did the shooting wanted to see someone die.  Sick, Sick, Sick.
