Police say that 18-year-old Jajuan Holmes pulled out a revolver in the Davidson High School gymnasium and fired one shot in the ceiling and a second shot killing himself. Former student Bryant Buck came to campus, because his girlfriend was inside the gym at the the shooting. News 5 Photojournalist Tim Jones spoke with other students on the Davidson campus shortly after the shooting. Hear their reaction from the scene this morning.

A person who commits suicide has no idea how much pain they cause to family and friends.  I wonder if they would carry out the deed if the only knew. The pain they cause is never resolved. I know. I lost my son 19 years ago. My heart goes out to the parents as I know there are long days and longer nights ahead. I am so sorry. I do understand. What a useless end to a young life.
