UNDATED (AP) - A survey says the national average price for
gasoline rose 5 cents over the last two weeks.
The AAA auto club reports the average national price of
self-serve regular gasoline is $3.39 a gallon (record high).
According to today's survey from AAA Alabama, the statewide
average price of regular is $3.24 a gallon. Diesel cost $3.91 a gallon.
Of the Alabama cities surveyed, the cheapest price for regular
is found in Montgomery at $3.21. Mobile and Tuscaloosa were tied
for the highest price at $3.27 a gallon each.
