Goodbye Driving, Hello Riding!

BTW, I’m at work too . . .
I guess we just have different philosophies on opinions. You see, I am probably in the ‘least preferred’ group of American citizenry: I am a white, male, Christian Southerner (and fiercely proud to be so). I get into it with people on line who make snide remarks about my Confederate heritage when I mention that I am proud of it; I get the usual “bigot” , “racist”, et. al. And although I have 100% positive proof that NONE of my relatives owned slaves, and that the Confederacy was not established of the sole purpose to perpetuate slavery, my family’s name is nonetheless impuned. My point is that I get wore thin with people that hold an opinion that is not based in fact. Sure, you or anyone else is entitled to hold ANY opinion you wish, but if it is not grounded on truth, then why would you want to claim it? BTW: I am a lifelong racefan (30+ yrs.) and I don’t drink, and I don’t throw RC Cola cans when Gordon wins (even though I don’t like him).
