It's almost time to "Move the Bus" in a Mobile neighborhood.
If you've seen the show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," you know that means a family is almost ready to move into their new home.
The Gaudet family is scheduled to move into the house on Baronne Street Friday afternoon.
Hundreds of volunteers have been working 24 hours a day to finish the work.
Frank Lott with Heritage Homes says, "The family will come home and they'll have a bus parked in front of the house. And then we'll all scream to move the bus and they'll move the bus forward with their designers and their on-screen folks. The bus, will move and the family will be able to see the house for the first time."
Cindy Ockman is one of the volunteers who's been helping build the home.
She says, "I was actually there in the backyard. They had to get the back ready for the irrigation and the landscaping, so we were out there trying to get it all solid because of all the rain."
Many other people took shuttle buses to the site just to watch what was going on.
Kristina Ballard of Mobile said, "Monday night when I passed by there was nothing but frame. Tuesday night when I came it was all bricked up and everything. And it's just beautiful."
Wayne Helms of Pace, Florida said, "Look at the people out here. You've got hundreds of people going at it. Everybody has got the same goal and its just amazing how its coming together."
The public can watch the unveiling sometime between Noon and 4PM Friday.
However, there are only a limited number of people who will be allowed in the neighborhood so the seats are first come, first serve.
A shuttle will run starting Friday at 8AM from the staging area near the Target Department Store in Colonial Mall Bel-Air.

I love this show and everything that they do.  I wish that more television shows worked to make this world a better place.  Just think if everyone spent the same amount of time talking and working on issues as they do keeping up with Britney Spears then we might actually start seeing some changes and making progress towards a better world.
