The pilots were members of Air Training Squadron 6, based at Whiting Field.
The bodies of the pilots were returned to Naval Air Station Pensacola Saturday night. Autopsies are expected to be completed over the weekend.

The Navy says a plane based at Whiting Field in Milton, Florida crashed north of Birmingham.
The T-34C Turbomentor crashed Friday afternoon, near Ashville, during a routine training flight. Both pilots were killed.
The names of the pilots have not yet been released.
