The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says they found a disguise -- dark-rimmed glasses, a fake mustache and bushy eyebrows -- and a jar of Vaseline in Michael South's car when they arrested him Saturday night in Lum Cumbest Park
Deputies say South, who's from Whistler, gave them two different explanations for his nude stroll. South first said he didn't have any clothes on because he went to the bathroom in the woods. But he later changed his story and said he liked to go to the park and walk around naked because it was secluded.
Deputies charged South with indecent exposure. A judge set bond at $50,000.
But the story doesn't end there. Police now believe South, who spent 15 years in prison in Alabama for sexually abusing two children, may have tried to entice a child for sex in Hurley last month. On November 4th, a man showed up naked in the backyard of a home and tried to lure a 9-year-old boy into the woods. That home is not far from the ball field where South was arrested Saturday.
