According to the Moss Point mayor's office, the low water pressure caused the firefighters to have a hard time fighting two house fires.
Things are back to normal, but over the past two days, people were complaining that the water was coming out too slow.
It was rumored that people leaving their faucets on overnight to keep their pipes from freezing was causing the problem.
Moss Point Mayor Xavier Bishop said that's not true.
"There is no harm and there is no danger in residents leaving their faucets running during extreme cold we often time encourage them to do that and so would not want to keep anyone from doing that for fear of the city's inability to respond to an emergency," said Mayor Bishop.
Engineers checked the water lines and so far they haven't found any leaks.
