Prichard police have issued an arrest warrant for the mother who punched a teacher in the face.

11:19 a.m.
Christian School in Prichard goes into lockdown after brawl between a student's mom and a teacher.
The principal of Safe Haven Christian Academy tells News 5 that a mother showed up this morning, upset about a fight on Friday involving her child. She wanted to speak to the principal, but when he refused, the mother started cursing and was asked to leave.
At that point, a teacher stepped out into the hall to see what all the commotion was about. The principal says the mom then hit the teacher in the face. The teacher fought back.
During the mother/teacher brawl, the principal called 911 and put the school on lockdown.
The mom left, but came back a little while later with 10 family members in tow. According to the principal, the angry mob of family members started banging on the doors yelling "we're going to kill you."
News 5 has a crew on the scene and will have a live report today on News 5 at Noon.

The really sad thing is that this family should be really ashamed that they behaved in such a manner as that, but I’m sure they will blame others for their behavior. Good for the teacher for defending herself from that low life.

It’s bad enough to start cursing and fighting with the teacher in a school full of kids. But coming back to the school to kick on doors and threaten to kill somebody??? This whole family of idiots should rot in jail. If my son or daughter had been in that school the police would have arrived to late. You threaten kids in a school, what kinda low lifes are you? This infuriates me really bad. Don’t say “but you don’t know this family” I know enough!!!!

This is so embarrassing ,and I don’t even know anyone involved or want to know them! How can you expect kids to behave and learn when they see a howling mob outside giving them examples of how to behave? The future looks bleak for those kids whose parents and kin folk were involved. bless the kids little hearts, they sure have a rough road to travel with these kind of families.

Just ridiculous and uncalled for. The mother of the child had no buisness sending anyone else to handle something for HER child. She should have went herself. The teacher was right to hit the other woman back, self defense all the way!! I do have to say the way the teacher was demonstrating how she got hit and how she fought back was very much my laugh of the day! Thank you WKRG for bringing laughter into my home today.

One lesson learned before you smack a teacher.

Some teachers will hit back and then beat the crap out of you.

Haven’t seen the video, but one can only imagine what kind of spoiled brats both the parents and their kids are. God help us.
