DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The boyfriend of an Ohio woman accused ofkilling her month-old daughter in a microwave oven says she told
him she'd killed the baby.
Terrell Talley testified that he and China Arnold took the girl,
Paris, to the hospital where she was pronounced dead in August
2005.
In a phone call months later, Talley says Arnold gave a possible
reason for the death. He says Arnold told him the girl might still
be alive if he hadn't been out cheating.
The defense has said that people other than Arnold had access to
the baby and that she was drunk when the baby died.
The trial may last another two weeks.

What has become of this world we live in. Adults taking no more thought for their children’s lives than a piece of garbage. Using them as a pawn to get their way, as leverage in their situation. People seem to have more love and compassions for animals than they do for little children. I personally tired of seeing excuses made for these people. Saying they,re sick and not responsible for their actions. YES!!! They are and should be held accountable for their actions, not 6 months in a hospital and 2 years probation., then off to have more children they don’t want and end up in the system, or dead. Maybe the eye for an eye theory is not a bad idea. Our society has made it acceptable to do such things and not have to bear the consequences for their actions. Illness is no longer the reality, it the excuse for doing what they choose and having no repercussions, not having accountability. Today’s societal thinking, “Blame it on anything you want, just don’t blame it on me.”
