People who live along Riverwood Drive East called police around 4:00 p.m. after they found Homer Mead's show floating in a waterway. They also found his fishing gear nearby. The Baldwin County Sheriff's Offics tells News 5 Mead's keys were still in the ignition of his truck.
Around 4:40, search crews found Mead's body. He had been missing since Tuesday night. The coroner has not released a cause of death.
