"Every room had been converted into a harvesting operation," says Sgt. Scott Haines with the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Office. "We found numerous indoor grow lights, potting soil, fertilizer, a complex air duct system used to pump chemicals and ozone into the rooms and an elaborate irrigation system."
Sheriff's deputies were notified when the homeowner found the indoor grow. Investigators say the property owner is NOT a suspect in the case.
"We're actually looking for his renter," says Haines. "The homeowner is active military and was renting out the home to the suspect."
Haines says 300-thousand dollar home was damaged significantly because of the indoor grow operation.
