If you're going to steal a car, you might want to choose somewhere other than the parking lot of a police station to do it.

Meet Sean Gleason, the newest addition to America's Dumbest Criminals. Gleason stole a car he said he wanted to buy.

The owner planned to meet Gleason at a Gilbert, Arizona bank, but changed his mind and decided to make the sale in front of the police station. It turned out to be a smart decision.

Instead of taking the car for a test drive, Gleason took it for a joy ride. What he didn't know is that a local TV station was interviewing a police officer in the parking lot at the time.

The whole thing was caught on camera. And police caught Gleason after a short chase.
