A Pensacola man is being held without bond for the murder of his girlfriend.Police say 38-year-old Aron Easley shot Demetrica Huff in the head Monday at her apartment on E. Fairfield Drive. Huff's 16-year-old son contacted an off-duty police officer who was working at Pensacola Village around 6:15 when he found blood in the apartment. The officer then found Huff's body behind the front door.
Detectives say Easley had been staying with Huff on and off for the past three years. According to police, the couple got into a fight last night about Easley drinking too much, but police have not said if that's what led to the shooting.
Easley was arrested around 10:00 p.m. in Gulf Breeze. He was on a bicycle and just happened to ride up on the scene of a crash. An Escambia County Deputy was getting onto Easley about being to close to the crash when he heard a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) for Easley on his police radio.
Easley is charged with murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, burglary and petit theft. It turns out the bicycle he was riding had been reported stolen.
This is the second homicide this year within the Pensacola city limits.

I feel bad about her death, but she sure didn’t have much taste or expectations from her boy friends did she? an ex-con,mental problems,an alcoholic and abuser. The one that’s going to suffer the most is the 16 year old boy and she probably didn’t even give that a thought before taking up with this outstanding citizen.
