A contractor accidentally burned down a house, but it's not as bad as it sounds.Investigators with Mobile Fire-Rescue say the home on Congress Street and Lexington Avenue was being demolished. The unexpected fire just finished the job.
The contractor was burning scraps of wood in a fire pit. The flames got out of control and burned what was left of the home.
He was fined $200 for illegal burning.
