Cut the bag according to his instructions...leaving the bag folded. Then open it and secure the dowels with duct tape as shown. Use duct tape to strengthen the "fins" where the "bridle" will be attached. The fins are the points that will receive the most stress when the kite is flying. The bridle itself is the pair of strings attached to the outer points of each fin. The strings should be the same length, about 8 feet, and with the ends tied securely together. The main kite string is attached at that knot. For the tail any kind of light ribbon will do. The windier it is, the more tail the kite needs.
