Police in White Plains report about $5,000 worth of electronics had
been ripped-off from her apartment last month. Police say the
victim got a call from a friend asking if she was online. That's
because the suspects had used the stolen MacBook to surf the Net.
Officers say the woman was to able to remotely activate the
laptop's built-in camera. She turned the digital snapshots over to
police, who report busting two suspects. Police say they've also
recovered most of the stolen electronic gear.
