MPD planning more checkpoints. One specific area will be targeted this week in Mobile. Look For Blue Lights In Mobile’s 4th Precinct

Mobile Police are planning checkpoints this Thursday, March 13. The checkpoints will only focus on the department's fourth precinct. Officers will be checking driver's licenses, vehicle registrations, proof of insurance, and seat belts. Mobile Police will not say where the checkpoints will be, but they do say officers will be out during the day.

The fourth precinct is west of I-65, north of Airport Boulevard and east of Cody Road.
