The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office pulled over Joseph Sasser Wednesday for speeding on Avalon Boulevard. During the traffic stop, one of the department's trained dogs picked up on a strange scent. Deputies searched the bed of Sasser's pick-up truck, where they say they found 20 pounds of marijuana under a whelbarrow. The marijuana was broken up into three "bricks" and zip-lock bags. Deputies say Sasser admitted he was on his way to deliver the marijuana to another person. He was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with the intent to Distribute and taken to the Santa Rosa County Jail. He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.
