South Alabama and it's fans can only watch tonight's NCAA Championship game on television. But the team's One Shining Moment came hours before tip-off.

The Jag's mascot, Southpaw, beat Baylor's Bruiser in a close contest to win the national mascot challenge.

Unofficial totals:
Total Votes: 562,714

Southpaw – 286,984 (51%)


Bruiser – 275,729 (49%)
