Kansas and Memphis will play Monday night on News 5 for the National Championship. But South Alabama's mascot could celebrate it's One Shining Moment hours before tip-off.

With just a few hours to go, Southpaw has is still leading Baylor University's Bruiser in the national mascot challenge. As of Monday morning at 5:00 am, more than 426,000 votes have been cast. Southpaw has a 60-percentage point lead.
