ATLANTA (AP) - The first national study of child abuse in
infants finds that about one in 50 are abused or neglected -- and
that doesn't include babies who die.
Government researchers say they were struck by the fact that
nearly a third of the abused infants were in the first week of life
when the abuse began. The study's co-author calls this "a
particularly vulnerable group."
The study looked at more than physical abuse. It included
neglect -- such things as improper housing, clothing, feeding and
access to medical care.

That is SAD!!! Parents need to take better care of there children!! If they are going to lay in the bed then they need to be prepared to make it!! In other words if you are going to play then get ready to pay!!! If you play with fire eventually you WILL get burned!!!
