Kay Kemp says she swiped her own credit card at a local fast food restaurant but the clerk still asked to look at it. Kemp was suspicious but handed her card over and the clerk disappeared.
Kemp made a mental note to check her account later. When she did, 800 dollars were missing.
She started looking into the missing money and found that it was spent on hair weaves and cell phones from online sites.
She filed a police report and a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
She also filed a report with an online site that helps track internet crime. Here's the link http://www.ic3.gov/
In the end, Kemp got her money back from the bank but warns others to be alert.
We can't tell you the name or location of the fast food joint because the person Kemp believes stole the money hasn't been arrested.
Mobile Police have a file on this case but haven't made any arrests.
