"I appreciate what he did," says Sally. "We are very close, he's always been there for me."
"She's been my confidant, my teacher, my mentor," says Ron Small. "I love her very much and I want her to know it."
Sally Small says she was amazed and overwhelmed at the technology involved in sending the greeting.
"When my husband was fighting in Vietnam, it'd take two weeks for my letters to be mailed and then two weeks to be mailed back, so this is all so new and quick and fast."
Small has been in Iraq since last summer. Both say they're looking forward to a "real" reunion when he returns home this July.
