A Bayou La Batre man is dead after police say his wife stabbed him in the chest with a kitchen knife.
Police are still investigating what happened this afternoon at the couple's home on Hemley Street.
They have not released any names, but police say the husband and wife got into a fight over money and that the husband ended up dead.
No charges have been filed at this time. Police are investigating whether the stabbing was in self defense.
