Arson investigators are looking for the person who torched $15,000 worth of lawn tractors, roofing shingles and other equipment that belonged to the Mobile Housing Board.
Mobile Fire-Rescue says someone was passing by the Mobile Housing Board facility on Plaza Drive just after 5 o'clock Wednesday morning and saw the flames. When firefighters got there six minutes later, flames were shooting out the open end of a 20 X 100 storage shed.
Arson investigators believe the fire was intentionally set. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call the Mobile Fire-Rescue Arson Hotline at 251.208.MFRD (251.208.6373).
