LINCOLN, Ala. (AP) - Governor Bob Riley visits the Hondaassembly plant today for a major production announcement. The
Japanese automaker will manufacture another vehicle at its plant in
Lincoln. Workers will assemble the Ridgeline pickup truck, starting
next year.
The Alabama plant already makes the Odyssey Minivan and the
Pilot. The Ridgeline is Honda's only pickup and was introduced in
2005.
A formal announcement is planned for 2 p.m. today.
