Several close calls Wednesday night on streets in and around Pensacola.Deputies and police officers were involved in a high speed chase.
The sheriff's office says Shane Wilson tried to outrun the law.
He was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck.
The chase started on South Dakota and ended on Brent Lane.
The sheriff's office released video from one of the deputy's patrol car cameras.
During the chase, the pickup truck tried to run officers and deputies off the road.
A deputy was able to safely attempt a pit manuver and spin the truck to a stop.
The sheriff's office says the driver and his passenger tried to run from officers.
Both were captured and taken to jail.
Shane Wilson is charged with reckless driving, fleeing and eluding officers, and aggravated assault.
The passenger, Nikki Cotner, is charged with resisting an officer without violence.
