What was supposed to be a pleasure trip, quickly turned into an adventure five spring breakers from Brazil won't soon forget.
"The boat just started taking on water and it happened so quick everybody jumped out but I got asthma soon as I hit the water I just blacked out," says Nick Fillmer. He and his friend were just past the second sand bar, a hundred yards or more from shore according to Tiago Mota. "The little plug behind the boat went loose, more water come in and Nick say boat going down and we jump, start swimming. I look back and Nick say, please come back help me."
"I couldn't breathe and this guy right here saved my life," says Fillmer.
Five people were on board the twelve foot skiff. All of them made it to shore safely but none more relieved than Nick Fillmer. "I was thinking of my daughter, my family. It scared the heck out of me."
The boys say they will go fishing again this spring break but this time and from now on they'll fish from the shore.
As soon as Marine Police brought the boat back to shore, it sand again. Mora says it was his boat but now it belongs to the Gulf of Mexico and will make a nice reef.

Little Lagoon Drowning

I know him, he used to be my neighbor. It was just a joke. He knows I put that on there anyways, I told him while I was doing it.
