CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - It's taken Angeline Price more than 60
years, but she finally made it to the prom. She was her grandson's
date, even though Clarksville, Tennessee, teen Cody McGraw has a
girlfriend. But he wanted to take grandma when he learned she
missed her own prom because she couldn't afford to go. Cody took
his girlfriend and his grandmother out to dinner before Friday
night's big dance. Granny can't boogie like she used to. But she
tells a local TV station (WKRN-TV) she wasn't going to let recent
knee surgery keep her off the dance floor.
