The saga started when a man tried to steal a car off the streets of Las Vegas. What he didn't know was police planted a "bait car" to catch thieves like him. He finally realized police were onto him when the "bait car" stalled.
Preferring another vehicle to running on foot, the man then stole a golf cart from a nearby course. Unfortunately for him, police and a television news helicopter were watching from above.
A couple of golf course employees saw the action and joined the slow speed chase in another cart.
The thief drove through a tunnel before deciding to ditch the golf cart and run. But that didn't work out any better. He was arrested after climbing over a fence and running across a busy street.
