"We've seen the video and we're investigating," says Lt. David White with the Foley Police Department. "If anybody knows the participants or where the fights are taking place, please call us."
All of the fights take place at night in rural Baldwin County, possibly near Foley. Headlights from pick-up trucks are used to light up a pasture or field....then teenaged boys take turns fighting. Wrestling and martial-arts moves are used in the fights.
"I think it's ridiculous and dangerous," says parent Celandine Miller. Miller has a son who goes to Foley High School. "There's no supervision, the fights aren't sanctioned and there's no medical care nearby. One wrong hit and it could cause brain damage."
Investigators say juveniles involved in Fight Night could be arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
"If the kids want to fight, they need to do it at a gym, with a trainer," says Miller.

As a mother of a teen in Foley High School, I find this very disturbing. I do not understand why kids do this. What is the point? This makes me want to take my teen out of public school and home schooled. However, I think that the law should get involved and start taking action. If nothing is done about this it could very well end up in a serious situation where some one gets severely hurt or even killed. This is terrible and needs to be dealt with in accordance with the law. What are the parents of these teens saying? I also think that “you tube” should be forced to take its site off of the web. This does nothing but show others what violence is about.
